On the second floor just off the escalator, Salon Vert is all about the bar: Brass lighting combined with the brass footrail frame the room. Forest-green tiles behind the bar feature a peony pattern, while pink, white, and maroon stripes align the bar. A plate-glass window overlooks Broadway, softened by columns of glass bricks.

There’s also Salon Vert, a 32-seat raw bar on the second floor — where Gourdet adds Haitian green seasoning to his oysters’ mignonettes.

The Salon is decorated beautifully with every design detail hitting a high mark. The service was warm and friendly. Impressively professional. I sipped my Lillet Blanc, drinking in the opulent surroundings and savored each moment.

My favorite restaurant in NYC. Hadn't been in a while but we have now been dining with you two days in a row. The food is innovative and absolutely mouthwateringly delicious. I crave the watermelon - tomato salad. Big fan of the chef. This was an extraordinary meal. Thank you!

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE, truly above and beyond. Friendly, fun and knowledgeable staff. Oh, and the FOOD is one perfect bite after another. Go to this very special spot in NYC as soon as you possibly can. As a life-long New Yorker, this goes down as a top dining experience in the Big Apple!

I left this restaurant experience in a daze of ecstasy. In an age where every dime we spend matters, Salon Vert deserves every dollar. I had the Prix Fixe which was the way to go as you get to taste a melange of flavors. The Gazpacho was incredible with a beautiful balance of flavors and probably the best I've ever had! The service was impeccable and the staff is on point and incredibly trained. Watching the way the food was prepared and presented was high art. The tomato strawberry salad was divine. I shall be back!!
