On the second floor just off the escalator, Salon Vert is all about the bar: Brass lighting combined with the brass footrail frame the room. Forest-green tiles behind the bar feature a peony pattern, while pink, white, and maroon stripes align the bar. A plate-glass window overlooks Broadway, softened by columns of glass bricks.

There’s also Salon Vert, a 32-seat raw bar on the second floor — where Gourdet adds Haitian green seasoning to his oysters’ mignonettes.

What a beautiful atmosphere. I loved the space and ambience. The service was attentive but not overbearing. The berry salad and strawberry sorbet were perfect for a light afternoon snack. The wine my friend selected was light and crisp. My cosmopolitan was delicious.

Stopped by for a Sunday afternoon coffee+ aperitif..the bar tender went down to the 1st floor cafe to deliver a supremely fantastic cappuccino! Can't say enough about good service here.

The food was absolutely delicious. Wilhelm, the sommelier, was very knowledgeable and offered excellent service. We also enjoyed the beautiful French singer. It was a wonderful evening.

Absolutely the best service and outstanding food.The oysters where delicious and the house tomato salad with berries was a delight. the tomato-watermelon soup was absolutely divine.
